UNDER THE WEATHER

I have been sick for the last three days.  I hate being sick, I don't get anything done and my family gets neglected.  I have the worst sore throat that radiates up into my ear.  I get it every year in the spring and I have been told that it is allergies...GO FIGURE.  It is the most excruciating pain I think that I have ever felt, including child birth.  Luckily for me I have the greatest husband in the world who has a great bedside manner.  I don't know how he does all that he does.  He is the busiest man I know and he still finds the time to help me when I am down.  I also have great children who are so helpful to me.  I am truly blessed in so many ways.

What? Did you think that I would keep that blog stye forever. Of course it was going to change again, what else am I going to do till 3:30 a.m. I did keep the same header though. After all the work that Tiffany put into it for me there was no way I was going to change it. Janae, you have created a monster.

TAKE YOUR KID TO WORK DAY

So today was take your kids to work day, and Mooch couldn't take them with him because he had meetings all day, so since I am a stay at home mom, does that mean that they get to stay home from school all day and play, because that is like being with mom at work? Because that is exactly what we did. First off we all slept in...YIPPEE, and then we invited other friends over who couldn't feasibly go to work with their dads either, and we had a party....well the kids had a party, but then I still had to grocery shop, clean the house, do laundry, have lunch with Holly (Skitzo Sista), etc etc. What I want to know is this: What about the poor sap who CAN feasibly take his kids to work with him and he has like six of them? I'm thinking that it would just be easier to take the day off and spend it with the kids no matter how many you have. Something to think about all you fathers out there.

Sometimes I think that I am a 12 year old in a 39ish, no make that 29ish year old body. I am intrigued at how much time my children want to spend with their friends, yet I will drop anything and everything to go to lunch with my Skitzo's (the name that my girlfriends and I refer to each other as, hence the 12 year old mentality). Not only am I blessed with a great family, but I also have been blessed with the most amazing friends, who not only make me laugh till I cry sometimes, but who inspire, motivate, and teach me, and love me despite my many faults. I think that friendship like theirs is rare in today's world and I truly count them as one of my most treasured blessings.

Finally, after repeated attempts, I had to admit that this was bigger than I was, and I had to make a call to the amazing Tiffany Runyon to help me with creating my header. She is amazing, and if you read this Tiffany, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU from the bottom of my blog. I have wasted so much time working on this and my husband was beginning to think that I had lost my mind. But here I am, up and running.
